안녕하세요 이제 막.. db에 발을 들이려하는  초보입니다.

mysql을 설치하려고 mysql- 5.0.27-win32를 다운받아

설치하는 중에요.

mysql server instance Configuration Wizard 실행중에

마지막.. Execute 하려는 부분에서..

Apply security settings가 체크가 x로 뜨면서

connection error 이라고 뜹니다.

내용은..

the security setting could not be applied to the database
becaue the connection has failed with the following error

errornr.1045
Acces denied for user'root'@'localhost'(using password:No)

If a personal firewall is running on your machine, please make sure you have opened the TCP port 3306 for connections. Otherwise no client
application can connect to the server. After you have opened the port please press [Retry] to apply the security settings.

If you are re-installing after you just uninstalled the MySQL server
please note that the data directory was not removed automatically. Therefore the old password from your last installation is still needed to connect to the server. In this case please select skip now and re-run the Configuration Wizard from the start menu.

이렇게 떠서.. 실행이.. 안됩니다..
