PostgreSQL 8.0.0 Beta 2 Released

Its been 3 weeks since we've released Beta1, and there have been a lot of fixes implemented.

For a complete list of changes/improvement since Beta 1 was released, please see:

That said, Beta 2 is currently available for download on all mirrors:

http://www.postgresql.org/mirrors-ftp.html

As with all releases, the success of this release falls in your hands. To go from Beta to Release, we need as many people as possible to put it through its paces, on as many platforms as possible. We urge anyone, and everyone, to download a copy and run her through her regression tests, and report any/all problems, and bugs, to:

pgsql-bugs@postgresql.org

The more bugs we can find, and eliminate, during Beta, the more successful the Release will be ...

Beta 딱지는 언제쯤 뗄것 같나요?

아직 PostgreSQL 에 입성(?) 하지는 못했는데..

조만간 하게 될 것 같습니다.

7.x 를 쓸까 8.0 을 쓸 것인가를 고민,

즉, 좀더 기다려 볼까 하고 생각중에 있습니다.

몇주내로 Beta 딱지를 못떼면, 우선 7.x 를 쓸려고 합니다.

앞으로 초보자를 위해 작은 조언이라도 해주시기 바랍니다.
