TK2-00001: an undefined Oracle Toolkit II failure occurred
env | grep DISPLAY
DISPLAY=unix:0.0
훔..솔라리스에서는 사례를 찾기 힘드네요 ㅡㅡ;;
There could be 2 problems.
1. Make sure that the directory /usr/lib/X11/nls exists.
2. Make sure the X-server is running in PsuedoColor mode.
The following should help solve the problem.
Problem Description: ===================== When you try to start Server Manager using "svrmgrm" on a Data General, Digital, SGI, SunOS, Sun Solaris or UnixWare operating system, you receive the following error: TK2-00001: undefined Oracle toolkit II failure occurred References: =========== Search Words: ============= starting, startup, tk2-1, tk2-001, svrmgr, motif, failure, Bug 310462, Bug 322282 VERIFY THAT THE "NLS" DIRECTORY EXISTS Solution Description: ===================== You need to verify that the "nls" directory exists. Do the following: 1. Change locations to the "X11" directory: % cd /usr/lib/X11 2. Verify that the "nls" directory exists: % ls 3. If the "nls" directory is not there, create it: % mkdir nls 4. Execute "svrmgrm": % svrmgrm NOTE: This solution is valid for SGI, SunOS, and Digital as these platforms have encountered this problem as well. DIGITAL: EDIT THE "XSERVER.CONF" FILE Solution Description: ===================== Edit the "Xserver.conf" by doing the following: 1. Login as "root" 2. Change locations to the "X11" directory # cd /usr/lib/X11 3. Edit the "Xserver.conf" file by adding the following information at the end of the file ! you specify command line arguments here args < -vclass0 PseudoColor > 4. Save and exit the "Xserver.conf" file 5. Restart the Xserver SUN SOLARIS: START THE WINDOW MANAGER WITH THE "OPENWIN" COMMAND Solution Description: ===================== This could be related to Bug 322282. Workaround: ----------- Start the window manager with depth=8 option (8 bit frame buffer) with the following command: openwin -dev /dev/fb defdepth 8 Solution Explanation: ===================== The sparc5 has a s24 true color 24-bit frame. Sometimes machines do not run on frame buffers other than 8-bit color frame buffer.
