Directory Technologies
This course builds a foundation of knowledge for understanding Directories. The course explains what Directories are and why they are needed. It gives a history of the evolution of Directories, including their relationship to X.500 and LDAP. It also examines three types of Directory technology; Netscape Directory Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and NDS eDirectory. Note: Students should take course 995 prior to taking course 991, Advanced NDS Tools and Diagnostics.
