설치를 mysql 이라는 계정으로 하신 모양이로군요.

처음 ./configure 시에 --prefix=/usr/local/mysql 이라는 옵션을 주고 하시기 바랍니다.

그리고 /usr/local/mysql 이라는 디렉토리를 만들고 그 소유를 mysql.mysql 로 해 주고 나서 기존의 과정을 반복해 보시기 바랍니다.
