Job Description:
Responsible for Java Platform development and its porting to embedded devices.
ES Korea works with the leading device and chipset manufacturers around world.
Embedded S/W Engineer position is responsible for development Java Virtual Machine (ME, SE) and porting to various operating system.
Also good interpersonal cooperation skills in cross cultural groups (multi-GEOs).
Skills & Competencies:
Mandatory
---------
- Typically requires a BS/MS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering from University.
- Has excellent knowledge in C, C++ or Java language is must.
- At least 7 years and up to 12 years as a S/W Engineer in embedded area.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Immediate availability.
Advantage
----------
- Experience with embedded RTOS such (RTX, ThreadX, Nucleus) or Linux environment.
- Experience with firmware development (kernel or driver).
- Experience with some transport protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, USB or RS232.
- Experience with porting Java ME or Java SE technologies on the embedded device.
- Fluent in English is advantage.
- Java experience is not mandatory. |
