일단 Windows 용 서버는 분명히 free가 아닙니다. 하지만 라이센스 비용은 그렇게 비싸지 않으므로 정식적으로 구입을 해서 사용하는 것도 큰 부담은 없을 것으로 생각됩니다.

그리고 리눅스 용의 경우에는 개발 및 본인이 직접 사용하는 경우에는 무료로 이용 할 수 있습니다. 단지 개발을 해주 타인에게 줄때에는 그 mySQL 서버에 대한 라이센스 비를 주어야 합니다.
