MySQL AB Appoints Veteran Marketing Executive to Fuel Enterprise Growth

MySQL AB, developer of the world\s most popular open source database, today announced that Zack Urlocker has joined the MySQL AB management team as vice president of marketing. In this role, Mr. Urlocker will oversee MySQL AB global corporate and product marketing as the company continues its expansion into the corporate enterprise market.
Mr. Urlocker is an accomplished marketer with more than 15 years\ enterprise software experience. Prior to joining MySQL AB, he served as vice president of marketing at M7 Corporation, where he managed M7\s worldwide marketing and business development strategy. Mr. Urlocker was also vice president of marketing at Active Software, where he helped the company achieve a successful IPO and profitability. He continued as vice president of marketing when the company was acquired by webMethods, and was responsible for unifying enterprise and B2B integration products into an end-to-end suite. Mr. Urlocker also held executive marketing and product management positions at Borland International.
