Organization Name Java Engineering Services Department Description Oracle\'s Java Engineering Services (ES) is a worldwide engineering organization that works directly with customer and partners to bring their products to market by leveraging Oracle\'s Java technologies. The team is also the strategic engineering arm for the global Java sales organization. ES have customized the Java runtime platform for devices such as Cisco VOIP phones, Amazon Kindle, Blu-ray and digital TVs, Multi-function printers, building automation, home gateway devices and more. ES specializes in the following activities: 1) Porting, optimizing and testing the Java virtual machine for the customers\' software and hardware platform. 2) Enhancing the Java platform to build prototype solutions to address technology gaps in the current product. 3) Building demos to showcase Java technologies in different use case scenarios. Brief Posting Description Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Detailed Description As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Job Requirements Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience. Additional Details Position: Javacard application developer Required skills: -> 1-2y experience in developing security aware java application for Java ME, Java Card, or for smart cards platforms. experience in product development (following Prod Dev processes) -> BSc. Degree in computer science -> Fluent in English -> able to work in teams -> able to work and communicate with distributed/multi-site teams -> able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
