소스포지에 있는 프로젝트를 보고 알았습니다.

Firebird은 저장해 진 절차와 방아쇠를 위해 뛰어난 병행성과 높은
퍼포먼스와 강력한 언어 지원을 제공한다.
그것이 다양한 1981 이래로 이름 아래 생산
시스템에(서)사용되었다.
Firebird이 C와 C++ 프로그래머와 기술적인 고문과 발전하는 지지자의
상업적으로 독립적인 프로젝트이었고 multi-platform을 높여서 관계가
있는 데이터베이스 경영 시스템은 공공의 InterBase 라이센스 v.1.0
아래에(서)2000 년 7 월 25 일에 Borland 소프트웨어 법인으로서 지금
알려 진 Inprise 법인에 의하여 발표해 진 소스 코드에 기초를
뒀다.
Firebird은 완전히 어떤 등록이나 어떤 라이센싱이나 전개 어떤
요금도 없다.
제3 어떤 소프트웨어와도 더불어 사용을 위해 자유롭게 그렇지 않으면
방송 광고 그것을 배치할 수 없다.
About Firebird®
Firebird is a relational database offering many ANSI SQL-99
features that runs on Linux, Windows, and a variety of Unix
platforms. Firebird offers excellent concurrency, high performance,
and powerful language support for stored procedures and triggers.
It has been used in production systems, under a variety of names
since 1981.
Firebird is a commercially independent project of C and C++
programmers, technical advisors and supporters developing and
enhancing a multi-platform relational database management system
based on the source code released by Inprise Corp (now known as
Borland Software Corp) on 25 July, 2000 under the InterBase Public
License v.1.0.
Firebird is completely free of any registration, licensing or
deployment fees. It may be deployed freely for use with any
third-party software, whether commercial or not.
New code modules added to Firebird are licensed under the
Initial
Developer's Public License. (IDPL). The original modules
released by Inprise are licensed under the InterBase Public
License v.1.0. Both licences are modified versions of the
Mozilla Public License v.1.1.
